Castle of Cans Favorites

Join us for our Castle of Cans Event!

Friday, December 2nd at Tower Theatre 6pm to 9pm

Students building the castle of cans structure

About the Event

On Friday December 2nd the students of an Event Planning class at COCC will be hosting a charity event named “Castle of Cans”, benefiting NeighborImpact. We will create a work of art-in-progress—A Castle, made of donated food cans, which will be displayed in the foyer of the Tower Theatre.

Donations have already come flooding in from generous businesses and we want YOU to be involved. Donation bins will be placed around town to collect cans for the castle and NeighborImpact.

Painting the castle before the event

It promises to be a fun filled, magical evening in Downtown Bend with light refreshments provided by Cascade Culinary Institute! Come help us finish the Castle-of-Cans on Friday December 2nd by donating a can or two.

Forgot your cans? Don’t panic! Monetary donations are also welcome and NeighborImpact will be in attendance to represent their charity.

We look forward to seeing you there as we all make a positive difference in the lives of others—one can at a time

About the Class

We are local students who love being in Central Oregon and jumped at the opportunity to gain practical experience while helping our community. We have high hopes of what our event will represent: lending a helping hand to the community as they enjoy an opportunity to learn and grow in the process.

Coming together with NeighborImpact to create community throughout Central Oregon.

NeighborImpact is a nonprofit organization based in Central Oregon that serves disadvantaged people in the community. We chose to donate the collected cans to them because of their great work within Central Oregon.
